Cars in German Town Found Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Officers reported they were notified by a resident who found a car in Hanau covered with red-colored liquid

Approximately fifty automobiles have been covered with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the Germany's municipality of Hanau close to Frankfurt, police confirm authorities.

Vehicles, exterior walls and postboxes were vandalized, occasionally with prohibited symbols, they announced in a statement.

Police state they were alerted late on Wednesday, when a resident observed that a vehicle in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored fluid.

The substance had been drawn in the form of a banned symbol, they added.

Law enforcement then found numerous other vandalized cars and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations prohibiting the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.

Officials say preliminary tests indicate the fluid was probably human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no clue as to its origin; authorities are currently not cognizant of any harm in association with the occurrence," they stated.

City officials stated they were trying "to unravel the mystery" and have requested to the community for details.

An important official said the attack left him without words and needed to be addressed promptly.

"This incident hits the center of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the right-wing violent incident five years ago," he stated on a platform, mentioning the murder of nine individuals by a assailant aiming at people of migrant background in five years prior.
